Providing life-changing, real work experiences, the Richardson Mayor’s Summer Internship Program helps connect students to their future by helping them build the vision and the skills needed for them to successfully transition into college and into future careers. You'll benefit by:
To qualify for acceptance into the Richardson Mayor’s Summer Internship Program, you need to be at least 16 years of age by June 1, 2023; must be a current high school junior who attends Richardson ISD or lives in the City of Richardson; and be legally eligible to work in the United States. Students must also have at least a cumulative 2.5 grade point average (80%) and be able to work 8 weeks during the internship period – June 5 through August 4.
All students must also attend a Workforce Skills Training on either the morning of Saturday, March 25 or Tuesday, March 28 to be eligible to participate in the Job Fair on Wednesday, May 3.
